The challenges that we faced
before we bought AlgoSec
was the amount of time
that we spent in the
whole firewall process,
the amount of time we spent
in creating the rules,
researching the firewall rules,
validating the rules,
cleaning up the firewall,
implementing the rules.
The whole firewall process was
a pretty lengthy process
that caused us a lot
of resources and time.
What we were looking for in a vendor is
a people-centric vendor,
somebody that would
actually partner with us
instead of just looking
at us as a customer,
and somebody that had
our interest in mind,
more than us just being
a sale point for them.
In talking with different
peers, doing my research,
and engaging with the sales team
and the security team with AlgoSec,
we determined that they were
the best fit with our company.
The teamwork and the knowledge
that AlgoSec brought to the
table seemed to complement us.
The key benefit that we
derived from using AlgoSec was
the amount of time and resources
that we actually saved,
when it came to managing our firewalls.
We saved a lot of hours and
a lot of time and resources
when we used AlgoSec.
We're still the safety net
for the final implementation,
but AlgoSec became the source of truth
when it came to the firewall rules.
I found that everybody
in the AlgoSec's team really personable
besides being very technical.
They have a good balance
of relatable people
and very technical people,
which is very hard to find the industry.
Usually, somebody's very technical,
but they're not a people person,
or you find a people person,
but they really don't know the product,
but I found that AlgoSec employees have
a pretty good balance of both.
I would recommend AlgoSec to my peers
and other people that I know
that are in the industry,
even people outside our company.
The thing I like about AlgoSec is
that it gives you the gift of time back,
because time is something
that you only have a limited
amount for your lifetime,
and the amount of time you
spend on creating firewall rules
or managing firewalls will
be drastically reduced
if you use the AlgoSec product.
